Valerie grew up internationally in Latin America (Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Venezuela) and was educated in the United States and Europe (Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York and Paris).  She is Bilingual in English and Spanish and can also communicate in Portuguese and French.  Valerie holds a double-major B.A. degree with high honors from Emory University and a law degree with high honors from Fordham University School of Law.

Following a successful career in international corporate law in New York City (Attorney in the International Corporate Department at Curtis Mallet Prevost) and Miami (Corporate Vice President for Legal and Business Affairs and Deputy General Counsel for HBO Latin America), Valerie found that she could maximize her international background, education and work experience in Real Estate.  She has lived and worked in Miami since 1997 and in Key Biscayne since 2005 where she is a homeowner and greatly involved in the community.
